To open a Cryptocurrency Account you can go to a broker website & open a Account. To register this real account, one has to fill some account registration form provided by a broker. The account opening form can be obtained from your broker.

Process of opening a Account is one that your broker will also need you to upload following accompanying documents:

What Documents Are Needed To Open A Account?

1. Proof of ID - Color copy of ID document or Passport - A color copy of official identification card document or valid passport issued by authorities (e.g. Driver's license, identity card, etc). identification document must have client's full name, an issue or expiry date, the client's place & date of birth or tax identification number and client's signature.

Why is a Copy of ID & Utility Bill Document that Has My Name Required?

These documents are required by your broker to safe-guard against equity laundering. AML, or Anti Money Laundering Rules require brokers request for proof of Identity and Residential with your full name so as to validate that you you are a resident citizen of the specific country you claim your'e from as well as a copy of Utility Bill that displays your exact current residential location, that way you can't create some fake identity or fake residence to use for money laundering.

All regulated brokers must comply with this requirement prior to opening a account for a new client.
