MT4 Data Window

MT4 Data window panel shows data about a bitcoin trading price, for a specified candle period. For example the charts below, shows how to select data window from the view menu options.(Ctrl+D is the shortcut key for displaying data window without having to access it from the view menu)

Data Window - MT4 Bitcoin Platform

Once the data window panel is selected it will display, the following data about a bitcoin trading price.

The following data for bitcoin trading is displayed and shown:

1. Bitcoin Chart
2. Date
3. Time
4. Open Bitcoin Price
5. High
6. Low
7. Close Bitcoin Price
8. Volume

This data will show info for a particular candle-stick, by scrolling your mouse over the candlesticks on a Bitcoin chart this data will change to reflect the bitcoin trading price candlestick which the mouse has pointed at.

The data widow is not popularly used in the MT4 Bitcoin Trading Platform as compared to the other MT4 cryptocurrency chart windows. However as a trader you can use this data window panel to extract & display data & data about any bitcoin trading price candlestick & the bitcoin trading prices associated with this candle such as the opening bitcoin trading price data, closing bitcoin trading price data & high & low of bitcoin trading price.

Because most traders can obtain this data directly from the charts, then the traders might prefer to use the info that's readily available on the Bitcoin chart within the MT4 platform software interface.

Another technique to get this data is to use the Cross Hair Mouse Pointer, To get the Cross Hair Mouse Pointer one only requires to press down & hold down the wheel mouse button and the cross Hair will then appear. If your mouse does not have a wheel button, please go and buy another one so that you can trade the MT4 cross hair. And from the Cross Hair one can get the bitcoin trading price data as depicted below.

From the Cross Hair above the vertical line will show data on the date for the current candle-stick, the horizontal line will show bitcoin trading price at that particular point on the chart. For the above example of Bitcoin chart you can see that the date is 2013.10.31 4:00GMT and the Crypto Price is shown for the selected point. The Open, High, Low, Close and Volume as well as Date is Shown Just below the Charts tab at the bottom of the MT4 Bitcoin Software, Marked as O: H: L: C: V: therefore the crosshair is a shortcut method of viewing data instead of going to the Data Window Panel of MT4

One can even click one point, hold down the mouse & move the mouse to another chart zone to measure the pip movement of bitcoin trading price from point a to point on the Bitcoin charts in the MT4 Bitcoin Software as Shown below.
