Opening an Offline Chart on MT4
In MetaTrader 4 you might want to open an offline chart and analyze this chart without having it updating in real-time. Although it isn't often that a trader wants to open an offline crypto chart, this option is provided in the Meta Trader 4 software.
Shown below, the File Navigation drop-down menu the second option is that of opening an offline bitcoin chart.
Once a trader clicks the open offline chart a pop up window panel will appear, a trader can then choose which offline bitcoin chart to open from this popup window popup menu.
From the above pop up menu a btc/usd trader then can open any offline chart that's listed above, the number of bitcoin price bars that have been saved within a specific offline saved chart is recorded as the number of bars as well as the date from which the chart is saved up to the last time it was updated.
This option isn't required so much in trading but it's good to explain it for guide purposes.
